A malfunctioning cyborg...

All cyborgs come with an expiration date, and from the glitches in his system, Max knows his time will soon be up. When he's forced to flee his position on Nina Station, he joins the crew of the spaceship, Kella, as their resident cyborg and head of security. Time is running short as Max searches for anything that will keep him from going berserk and endangering everyone around him.

A reformed pirate...

Inrit isn't looking for a mate even though she needs one to survive past thirty. After years of space piracy, she's ready for a clean break and a new life. And the Kella promises to give her that. What she doesn't count on is her smoking hot cyborg roommate with secrets of his own.

While Max and Inrit struggle to overcome their differences and save one another, a threat from Inrit's past draws ever closer, putting the entire crew at risk. And it will take a broken cyborg and an ex-criminal to save the day.

The denya bond will send them down a dangerous path where they will find redemption... or doom.

Cyborg is the fourth book in the Mated to the Alien series about a race of aliens doomed to die if they don't meet their fated mates. This science fiction series can be read in any order and there are no cliffhangers!

Check out Cyborg for fated mates, steamy alphas, and adventures that are out of this world! This book is great for readers of paranormal romance and sci fi romance who love to read in their free time!

Another fantastic, enjoyable book in this collection with a great storyline, with action and adventure and characters to love that become ingrained into you, all combined with some romance. This is Max who we have previously met in other books, and Inrit's, (Stoans childhood friend) story. But other characters who later have books are also seen in this book. What's so great about this series is that each book can be read as a standalone, although there is cross over of some characters, it doesn't matter to much what order or which books you read, you can dip in and out of the series wherever you like. Although obviously you will always have the greatest understanding by reading them in order.

Max, a cyborg, was sitting on Nina Station, orbiting in space, enjoying the beauty around him. He glitched with a data dump, shook his head, and his vision cleared again. This was the third glitch in the past three weeks. He went back to his thoughts. His assistant entered and told him Captain Morvellan wanted to talk to him. As he listened to the captain’s complaint, a crew member ran in to report a cyborg had gone berserk and needed to be stopped. Max and the crew member were finally able to bring it down, but it was a close call. Inrit, a Detyen female, was approaching the age where she must have a mate to bond with or she would die. She had already given up on finding her mate, her “denya”. A former pirate, she would not go back to that life. So she was moving on until she turned 30 when she would die. She was assigned to the engineering section of Captain Morvellan’s ship, and for the moment, she had a room all to herself. As Max started on his paperwork at the station, he was called to a confidential video conference with Commander Nina. She had seen his malfunction reports and had to fire him and evict him from the station. Since Captain Morvellan had lost his cyborg when it went berserk, Max was hired and was put into the cyborg’s previous quarters – the same quarters that Inrit occupied! And when they each saw the other, sparks flew! The denya bond was undeniable. Would Max, who already knew he didn’t have very long to live, convince her to let him make sure that at least she survived? Would Inrit accept the cyborg as her bonded mate so that she could survive? Or was there more of a future ahead than either could imagine? This is the final book in the Mated to the Alien series, and I loved it! The more you continue reading, the more it pulls you in and holds your attention. The character development was done very well, allowing the reader to get to know each one, both the good and the bad parts, and to know what to expect from them in the trials that are coming. Inrit, although a former pirate, was very honorable and kind. Max was just perfection – defective parts, perhaps, but he was a wonderful man and easy to care for. I definitely recommend this book! The story line was good and the fast pace kept the reader fully engaged.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is about a man Max that just wanted to just live but he did not know if he was going to be able. Inrit just wanted to live too with out looking back. Max was having trouble with is other half but did not know what to do about it. Max and Inrit just wanted to make sure they made it together until they can get Max fixed. Now would be time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author.
