Vivien Fitzhugh went to solve a mystery and joins forces with Marshal Reese Kelly at which point sparks fly. This is part of the Marshals Mail Order Brides which has been an enjoyable .

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment! Cynthia Woolf has created an unforgettable mail order bride who's temper is as fiery as her hair. She is on a quest for vengeance and determined to get it by any means necessary. The Eureka City Bride is jam packed with action, love, and villains and kept me engrossed from beginning to end.

I have yet to be disappointed by any book written by Ms. Woolf. This one had a hint of intrigue and it was interesting that the main lady, Vivien, was a former Pinkerton Agent. She resigns her position to become a mail order bride in order to go after the man who killed her best friend. Vivien arrives in Eureka City to discover that her husband to be is the very handsome town marshal. Reese cannot believe his good fortune in his choice of wife, but the two are soon at odds because Reese wants to protect and cherish Vivien but Vivien does not want his protection as she is plenty capable of taking care of herself (or so she thinks). Unfortunately there is at least one person that wishes Vivien had never set foot in Eureka City. Read the book to see who wins in the battle of the wills and if one or more people succeed in getting rid of Vivien. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Cynthia Woolf is the award-winning and best-selling author of fifty-seven historical western romance books and two short stories with more books on the way. She has also published six sci-fi, space opera romances, which she calls westerns in space. Along with these books she has also published four boxed sets of her books.

Cynthia loves writing and reading romance. Her first western romance Tame A Wild Heart, was inspired by the story her mother told her of meeting Cynthia's father on a ranch in Creede, Colorado. Although Tame A Wild Heart takes place in Creede that is the only similarity between the stories. Her father was a cowboy, not a bounty hunter, and her mother was a nursemaid (called a nanny now), not the ranch owner.

Cynthia credits her wonderfully supportive husband Jim and her great critique partners for saving her sanity and allowing her to explore her creativity.
