"You can't. He doesn't exist," Catriona said lightly.
"Not even in your imagination, in your dreams?"
Lucas Kane was a difficult man to work for. To say that he didn't suffer fools gladly was an understatement. And Catriona had wanted to get on one of Kane's famous archaeological adventures so badly that she'd lied about her qualifications. That was her first mistake.
Her second mistake was thinking that Lucas cared about anything except his work. She dreaded to think of the kind of job description Lucas Kane's wife would have. It would probably involve moving mountains and other such feats. But he wasn' the only one who had high standards. The man of her dreams would be…well, unfortunately for Catriona, he'd be Lucas Kane!

Sally Wentworth is the pseudonym for Doreen Hornsblow. She was born in 1937 in England. She was a British romance writer of 70 romance novels. She sold her first novel to Mills & Boon's in 1977. Her novels were principally set in Great Britain or in exotic places like the Canary Islands or Greece. Her first works are stand-alone novels, but in the 1990s, she decided to create her first series. In 1991, she wrote a book in two parts about the Barclay twins and their same great love, and in 1995, she wrote the Ties of Passion trilogy about the Brodey family. Her titles include Rightful Possession, Garden of Thorns, The Guilty Wife and Mission to Seduce. Doreen Hornsblow died from cancer in 2001, aged 64.
