Codes of Arcana: Romantic fantasy multiverse novel with paranormal mystery twists

Reviewed in Australia on 13 February 2021 Wow! The action in this book pretty much covered everything, was prolific and left me tired. One can only battle so many times without a break. It is seriously that real, with characters so vibrant that they almost leap from the page. I’m definitely going keep Madeline and Cieran company on the next step of their journey. That’s what friends are for.

Codes of Arcana is an action-packed, suspenseful, mystery, supernatural, thrilling romance multiverse tale. D.N. Leo is a genius at creating in the multiverse and does not fail us in the Infinity Series. The characters are known to us from other books in the multiverse, and like all of Leo's characters, they feel real and make the supernatural believable. Madeline is a strong female protagonist, and Ciaran is truly her soulmate. To get to any happily ever after, they will have to overcome almost insurmountable obstacles. You will root for them as a couple and individually. Ciaran's brother Tadgh and Madeline's friend Jo are also two lovable characters prominent in the storyline. This fast-paced story is a page-turner that draws you in from the first page. The action and suspense elements keep you engaged, as do the characters. This is book two in this series. On to book 3! . This storyline has main characters the reader will be familiar with from previous books in the Multiverse. This read is filled with suspense, intrigue, adventure, and many battles. A HEA is possible, but many obstacles must first be conquered. The characters and world-building jump off the pages with their vivid descriptions. Great read.
