It's 1941 and the country has been turned upside down. For the aristocratic Walsingham family this means being pushed unceremoniously upstairs while their grand home is taken over by the Army. Brilliant story, cannot wait to read the bomb girls. The code girls storyline was full of twists and turns, made me laugh with the girls and cry with them. Daisy styles is a brilliant author.

coming from East anglia myself the code girls is interesting and packed with local history as all of Daisy Styles books usually are .

Loved it, so good, just had to keep reading as hard to put down
About the author
Daisy Styles grew up in Lancashire surrounded by a family and community of strong women whose tales she loved to listen to. It was from these women, particularly her vibrant mother and Irish grandmother, that Daisy learned the art of storytelling. There was also the landscape of her childhood - wide, sweeping, empty moors and hills that ran as far as the eye could see - which was a perfect backdrop for a saga, a space big enough and wild enough to stage a drama, one about women's lives during the Second World War.
