Wow, Best Book Ever! Once I started reading Eye of the Falcon, I couldn’t stop until it was finished. This is the 12th book in Dale Mayer’s Psychic Visions series. I’ve read them all. Each is unique and excellent, and this one is the bomb! Read it. You will feel excitement, awe, sadness, and admiration for Issa, a young Irish woman brought to the United States by her mother at the age of 6 after the murders of her father, brothers, and beloved pet falcon Hadrid with whom she shared a strong psychic bond. Following her mother’s fatal heart attack, 26-year-old Issa is kidnapped from her secluded Colorado cabin, where she shelters wounded birds including snowy owl Humbug. She is brutally tortured and shot while escaping. With no idea of where she is or was, she collapses on the grounds of the raptor sanctuary run by former military pilot Eagle. One of his birds, Roash, has bonded with Issa, almost as strongly as the bond she had with Hadrid. Thus begins parallel stories as Eagle and Issa work to track down and catch the kidnappers by reconstructing Issa’s long-buried memories of her last days in Ireland, while Roash helps Humbug make the arduous journey to reunite with Issa, relying on very interesting and sometimes hilarious help from psychics Stefan and Tabitha, whom we know well from earlier books in the Psychic Visions series. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll worry, and you will rejoice. Then, if you haven’t read the first 11 books of the series, you will get them and love them. If you’ve already read them, you may join me in waiting impatiently for book 13 to release.

I love the whole idea of a human and animals connecting on a deeper level beyond the understanding of what's considered normal, to be completely in tune and able to help understand and heal each other through the connection. This story takes that idea and runs, its fascinating, interesting and a "little out there". I would have liked another chapter at the end with everything being resolved and them finding their new normal but that's me, I hate my stories ending. This poor woman goes through hell, has her life completely turned upside down again but still finds strength deep inside herself. The help Eagle gives her without question, they share an affinity for birds both helping and healing in their own ways is awesome. I loved the connection with Stefan and some of the others in this journey into finding the answers and finding peace. Fantastic read that just blew my mind in reading it.

Most excellent. As with every Dale Mayer book I wait in anticipation and am never disappointed. I love travelling to the ethers with the various characters and the strong and rather accepting Issa in Eye of the Falcon makes the journey exciting and dangerous. Eagle is as strong a character and I always love the way Dale manages to slip in the first affectionate nickname from the male character in the beginning of the romance....Eagle and Issa return from the cabin with no romantic liaison or touching or real affection to date and he wakes her up calling her sweetie. Showing his romantic softer side in comparison to the very strong sometimes seemingly unemotional side and starting the romance. Popping in of previous characters just cements the series and the gift that all these characters share. Another well written journey to my imagination. One I will surely read over and over again. Go get it. Now.
