About this ebook

Welcome to Hathaway House. Rehab Center. Safe Haven. Second chance at life and love.

Dealing with the loss of his right leg was one thing, but dealing with his missing left arm was more than Wesley can handle. He can hide the prosthetic leg. However, the arm is damn-near impossible to make look normal. And being normal mattered—or so he thought.

Alba is a therapist at Hathaway House, helping the patients come to terms with their new reality, in order to have the highest-functioning future possible. Wesley is on her roster, but, as their sessions progress, a connection builds that is hard to resist—or to ignore. But she has to stay professional. Yet, when she points out a few issues to help him change his perspective, their friendship hits a rocky spot. Needing to find her balance again, she pulls back.

Only when Wesley accidentally meets a young girl, visiting her father at the center, does Wesley get the paradigm shift he needs. The transformation is there within his reach, if he makes the effort. And the results will be worth it. He knows that. As Alba once again returns to his inner circle, he realizes just how much effort he’s willing to put in to get everything he wants.

This is the story of Wesley and Alba. Prepare for a story of discovery and support and perseverance. One step forward and, sometimes, several steps back. I love this series of books and the beloved characters who enrich the stories. Bravo!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Delightful story about Wesley's recovery time at Hathaway House. Wesley is having an understandably tough time adjusting to the loss of his right leg and left arm and although he is grateful it was not his right arm, he is especially having problems accepting the arm being such an obvious loss. He can hide the leg but not the arm. However in my book (and I'm a nurse) he is actually handling it better than could be expected. However, there is Alba who is working with him and also the unexpect

I really enjoyed reading Wesley . This is part of the Hathway house series . Wesley arrives at Hathway House hoping to receive more help and rehabilitation than the previous center gave him . He lost his arm and leg while serving . He never imagined possibly finding love also . Alba is a therapist at Hathway house and wasn't expecting to find a connection with a patient but Alba and Wesly find a connection .This story is a wonderful romance . It's emotional and heartwarming . I highly recommend taking the time to read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Dale Mayer is a USA Today bestselling author who writes for the young, the old and those in-between – no matter what the age. Some of her books are hot, some are sweet. Some will keep you up at night with a light on to keep the boogie man away and some you’ll want to cuddle close.

She’s long given up on trying to fit a specific genre. Instead she honors the stories that come to her – and some of them are crazy, break all the rules and cross multiple genres!

And that’s okay too.

There is one guarantee with each book – it will be a great read – each and every time.
