About the author

DAN BRITTON is a speaker, writer, coach, and trainer whose mission is to help people pursue their passion. He serves as the Chief Field Officer with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where he has been on staff since 1990. Dan travels extensively around the world training thousands of leaders in over ninety countries. Dan played professional lacrosse with the Baltimore Thunder, earning a spot on the All-Star team, and was nominated by his teammates for both the Service and Unsung Hero awards. Britton has coauthored six books, One Word, One Word for Kids, Life Word, Wisdom Walks, True Competitor, and Called to Greatness. Additionally, he has authored and edited twelve books with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Dan is a frequent speaker for companies, nonprofits, sports teams, schools, and churches. He has been interviewed by national outlets like FOX News, CBS News, and Fast Company. He still plays and coaches lacrosse and enjoys running marathons, even completing the Boston Marathon twice. Dan and his wife, Dawn, reside in Overland Park, Kansas, and have three adult children: Kallie, Abby, and Elijah.

RON FORSETH is a business strategist, writer, marketer, mentor, and ultra-distance walker. His mission in life is to acquire, apply, and multiply abundant wisdom to make a better eternity for himself, his family, and millions of others. He has trained teachers and business leaders across Asia and America and has lived in many cities and countries including Mexico, China, Hong Kong, and Mongolia. Ron has a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Master of Arts in English from Colorado State and has done graduate work at Seattle Pacific, UT Arlington, and University of Oregon. For over ten years, Ron served as vice president for Business Development for Outreach, Inc. and was concurrently general manager of Outreach Media Group, Outreach Web Properties, and director of advertising for Outreach magazine. He is the founding executive editor of ChurchLeaders. com and long-time general manager of SermonCentral.com, the world’s largest online community of pastors. Forseth has served as lead ambassador for Westfall Gold, a major donor consultancy that has raised over $1 billion for nonprofits. He is president/CEO of the business strategy firm Forseth Development, Inc. and founder of The Wisdom Society. Ron and his wife, Carol, reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado and have two adult children: Rachel and Randy.
