About this ebook

"Let's Hear it for Harper" Veronica's cousin Harper is coming to Riverdale, where she's considering attending Riverdale High. When she arrives, they see something they weren’t expecting: she is physically disabled.  However it doesn't take long to see that her disabilities don't hold her back, but instead add to her dynamic personality! Harper teaches the gang how something that you think can hold you back can make you that much stronger—all while being decked out in the most fashion forward wheelchair ever seen!

Everyone wants to feel as though they believe and that someone who looks like them is represented. Though in some ways the process can be a slow one, Archie Comics is introducing a character that will speak to the heart of so many individuals with special needs or disabilities. Introducing Harper. The feisty cousin of popular character Veronica, Harper is not defined by the wheelchair she rides in or the accident that put her there. She is her own person who brings her own gifts to the world---and she just wants to be recognized for that. Archie and even her cousin come to appreciate her for that fact, opening the door for the other characters and the reader to do the same. Kudos to Archie Comics for listening to your fans and for giving others a character they can relate to.
