About this ebook

She’s a goat rancher in desperate need of help. He’s the cowboy who lands on her doorstep with amnesia. Neither expects the dangers that will follow…

Sydney clings to her loneliness like a badge, refusing the help she desperately needs for her ranch. When a broken and bleeding (and handsome) cowboy winds up on her porch, she has to decide whether to help him or send him limping away.

Waking up on a deserted country road, Jameson is lost without memory or identity. A beautiful and intriguing woman offers him shelter, but a sense of peril grows as he recovers on her ranch.

The tension spikes when the local sheriff pays a visit. Something about the smooth-talking man unnerves Jameson, and it's more than just how he speaks to Sydney.

As the past catches them up in a web of danger, Jameson and Sydney realize there is more at stake than just their hearts—their lives hang on the thread of Jameson’s lost memory.

Read Her Unexpected Cowboy, book one of Unforgettable Cowboys, a clean and wholesome romance series with a touch of suspense, where the stories are stand-alone but the characters are tied together.

This was my first experience with Danae Little's work, and it was entertaining. Sydney owned a goat ranch that was situated away from town. Jameson woke up in a ditch, bruised and hurting, but with no memory of who he was. The characters were memorable. The story had a few surprises. This was my first experience with a digitally narrated story, and it was tolerable. I was given a free copy of the audiobook through Google Play, and I have posted this review voluntarily.

The characters were well written, the dialog fantastic. I like Jameson's innate nature and how his calm demeanor affected Sydney. He can't remember who he is, but he can read the skid marks and indentations in the grass. His vocabulary also leads them to think he's in law-enforcement... but it doesn't tell them if he's a good guy, especially when he knows he doesn't want the local sheriff involved.

I love this story I stayed up most of the night reading it because I couldn't put it down. Strong characters with some mystery to keep you turning pages trying to help Jameson remember who he is.
