You could easily do this book with a five year old. Ages seven or eight could probably do this on their own. This book is a crystal explanation of ADHD and is full of esteem-building and coping activities. I am going out on a limb here but I think it is almost a crime NOT to get this into the hands of any ADHD child. Well, at least, it would be a crying shame.

Recommended for Parent of ADHD. For me, also being ADHD this book helped make sense of my thoughts and reactions. Easy read. I highlighted several sections. This will be a book to re-read every year.

As someone who was part of the stigmatizing group, I'm glad I have a better understanding of this kind of mind. This is possibly affecting someone very close to me and possibly a big issue in our relationship. However, me having more insight with this person or any other humans I may encounter opens up my compassionate side even more and more. I appreciate all of the medical/scientific explanations, variety of examples and informed explanations of both medicinal and non traditional/medicinal benefits out there.
