If you read this story, in the magical beauty it was intended to convey, I hope it will speak to your heart as it did to mine. -------------- Reading the Wild Swans, I see in it the beauty, of courage and fortitude, of trust and faith, and coping with whatever comes. -------------- Much could be said about this and the other stories, how they are the journey of the soul through life, how they are this, and how they are that, ... but most of all, they have the power to touch the heart and give courage and love and hope .... -------------- they have the power and the strength of lift up, and give courage to face whatever life gives, the heroine Elise, is pure and beautiful, but she is tested, and she is asked to trust, have faith and suffer, her beauty and her truth are earned. -------------- George MacDonald and his literary children, CS Lewis, Tolkien.... drank from this stream ... - -------------- Haiko
