Romancing The Heiress is a wonderful historical romance by Darcy Burke. Ms. Burke has given readers a well-written book complete with an outstanding cast of characters. Phineas owns the botanical gardens his grandfather started. He's struggling to keep them going with the little help he has. Leah returns to her hometown after being away for 5 years. Phineas and Leah's story is packed with drama, spice and humor. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to reading my next book.

This clever and captivating Regency romance has all the feels. Leah and Phineas are clearly meant to be together, but social forces conspire against them. An emotional subplot deals with Leah's heartbreaking estrangement from her family. I can't wait for the next book in this series! Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Loved reading the engaging and enthralling romance story. While working as a companion to a young woman, Genevieve, Leah returns home; Leah still has feelings for Phin, but Phin just wants to be friends; and Phin starts dating Genevieve. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting love story. Can't wait to read the next story in the series by the fabulous and fantastic author, Darcy Burke.
