Will isn’t above playing the nostalgia card, and when he challenges Arianna to a sexy game of truth or dare, she can’t resist. Neither one is ready to tell the world what they’re doing, but how long can they possibly keep things a secret when there are Donovans ready to meddle around every corner?

3.5stars—DARE ME is the first instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult THE DONOVANS romance series. This is twenty-three year old, radiation therapist Arianna Donovan, and thirty-two year old architect Will Jameson’s story line.The premise is entertaining but I struggled with the Donovan family dynamic and their overwhelming need to interfere and control which made my reading experience difficult and anxiety-filled affecting the overall enjoyment. DARE ME is a well written story line

4.5 Stars for Dare Me If you love small town romance this book should certainly be on your radar. This is Arianna Donovan and Will Jameson’s second chance at love. It was only meant to be one night, they met on a dare and then they would go their seperate ways ….. Fast forward a year and a chance meeting at a family dinner brings back all sorts of feelings. Adrianna was hurt that Will could walk away without even a goodbye but for Will it was easier to have a clean break.

I have not read a book written by Samantha Chase that I did not fall in love with. But the Donovan’s are a family all their own. You kind of want to strange them sometimes for trying to control Arianne’s life but they do it out of love. She Is a strong, independent woman but they only see her as the baby. Watching her prove to them the woman she has become was a true joy. Throw in their Truth and Dare’s and you have another 5-star read by an awesome author.
