A fantastic foray into a crowded genre that takes a swashbuckling direction into the politics of kings and kingdoms. Characters jump off the page, and you can't help but be swept up in the intrigue and suspense each page presents. Do yourself a favor and pick up the first book, the Gilded Chain, and dive right into a world that you want to visit again and again.
