The Blood Of Angels is the first book in the Clare Woodbrook Series and is a fantastic start to this new series. I love that the author has take the character of Clare from the Anna Burgin series and given her a series of her own which also explains how she was able to assist Anna so readily. This story is fast-paced and action-packed, guaranteed to keep you turning the pages as Clare works for a secretive organization and tries to decide who she can trust. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

David Bradwell grew up in the north east of England but now lives in Hitchin in Hertfordshire. He has written for publications as diverse as Smash Hits and the Sunday Times and is a former winner of the PPA British Magazine Writer of the Year Award.
