This series had so much potential that it hurt to see it unfulfilled. If you want to learn how to create a great fictional universe, interesting ideas and then spend 5 books fleshing out story lines to finally provide nothing then this series is for you.
About the author
David Brin is the acclaimed Hugo and Nebula award-winning author of ten novels and two collections of short stories. He has a doctorate in astrophysics, and has been a consultant to NASA and a graduate-level physics professor. He lives in California.
