Very similar too a few books of similar genre , have read all three now and the plot lines are .... Repetitive.

It is paced well. Not overwhelmed with descriptive rhetoric like many of this genre are. It does dwell on injuries a little too much and little more of the humour within these stories could be extended.

Definitely a step up and sets up some kick ass characters for the sequels - can't wait.
