Never Defy a Vixen

Destitute after the death of her parents, Lady Wilhelmina Neverhartt marries a much older man who agrees to support her four younger siblings. He dies on her wedding night leaving her at the mercy of his heir, Zachary Ward, the new Duke of Graystone. Though he believes she married his uncle for money and title he can’t help but be enchanted by her. It’s his preconceived notions about her that get in the way. This is a delightful way to start a new series. The author has set things up nicely and I look forward to the series. The characters are well developed though I did not like Zachary much at first. But that’s me and the story itself, we don’t always like characters at first. He does redeem himself in the end. I always enjoy Dawn Brower, especially her time travel The dialogue was good and her imagery and descriptive language was excellent. This is a wonderful, well written story and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you Ms. Brower for this entertaining love story.

The Neverhart 💜 series book 1. NEVER DEFY A VIXEN. This is a wonderful Regency romance book with more than a few twisters. it has so many details that drew me into the characters stories. The descriptions just add so much more to the wealth of the story. I will be certain to read the next books, about this family. Never Defy a Vixen is the first book in The Neverhartts series and is a fantastic start to the series. I really enjoyed reading this Regency romance. The characters are delightful and the storyline is well-written and engaging, with family, misunderstandings, and romance. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
