Dawn Skies: Stormcloud Station Series

Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. Wazza is the lead hand on Stormcloud Station and is sent to outlying watering station to check on both a misfunctioning security camera and on the water tank itself. Upon arriving, Wazza notices what looks like a shirt draped over the camera. After retrieving the shirt and hollering a couple of times, a woman finally steps out from under some trees and so does a little girl. It seems that they had run into some car trouble and taken refuge there. Wazza talks Kee into letting him help her and her daughter by finding them somewhere to stay and seeing about getting Kee's vehicle repaired. So begins a wild adventure set in the Australian outback. Wazza learns that Kee is running with her daughter to escape her ex-husbands family and their custody battle for the little girl. He vows to do everything he can to protect and help them in order to give Kee time to figure out what her best course of action will be. This book is packed with lots of action, love, cuteness, suspense and has a cast of colorful characters. This book will take you on an emotional journey and by the end, you will be glad that you went. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Yet another wonderful story in Suzanne Cass's "Stormcloud Station" series. He loved it when she called him "Mr Cowboy", she had stolen his heart this tiny four year old, cute bundle of energy.....as had her mother. Warwick Noble (Wazza) was Leading Hand at Stormcloud Station, a luxury resort in Queensland. Wazza was a bit of a loner, he had in the past had a girlfriend Karri, who had tragically died when she was pregnant with his baby, the baby that never lived but who he thought of a lot, a baby that he had called Ava. A security camera was malfunctioning and Wazza had to make the two hour journey in the scorching heat to fix it but on reaching his destination he got more than he bargained for, there in the scrubland miles away from anywhere, with no food or water but proudly standing her ground was a beautiful woman and her tiny daughter. Kee Mallick and her daughter Benni were on the run from the police and Kee's unscrupulous in laws who wanted to take Benni away from her, she would never let this happen, she must keep running but her car had broken down. This story follows the rescue of Kee and Benni and of the kind hearted people of the Stormcloud Station taking them both to their hearts, of the magnetic attraction between Kee and Wazza that couldn't go anywhere, she was only staying for three days until her car was fixed, of the dogged pursuit by vicious Bruno, Kee's ex husband's corrupt older brother who would use all the powers of his ex police colleagues to find them. This is a story of love conquering all, of a mothers all consuming love for her child, of a man willing to put his life on the line for two people who he had come to love more than anything else in the world, of facing doubts and learning to trust. Suzanne Cass has done it again and I can't wait for the next story. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

This is book four in The Stormcloud Station Series and it is Warwick and Kee's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Warwick works at.The Stormcloud Station and when one of the cameras starts having a few problems he goes out to check what is happening only to be surprised when he finds a broken down car and also a woman and child so he does the only thing that he can and that is too take them back to his place until the car is fixed. Kee and her daughter Bennie are on the run from not only the police but also her in law's who wants to take her daughter Bennie from her and that will never happen as they are not good people but when her car breaks down and she doesn't know what to do as she knows that they are closing in on her position and that is when Warwick comes to her rescue. The attraction between Warwick and Kee is instant and strong but Lee can't do anything about it as her concern is keeping her daughter safe and running again as soon as her car is fixed. Warwick is determined to keep them both safe if only Kee would trust him to do that because he wants Kee and Bennie in his life. Omg this series.is.just getting better and better with each book but this one is definitely my favourite and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive and had you turning the pages to see what would happen next. Suzanne Cass is an amazing author and writer and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future. I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.
