This was a real stretch to read. I love Koontz but this story is just being dragged out. To be honest, couldn't wait for it to end. Was hoping the next one would be the final book in the instalment but seems no end in sight. At the point now where l don't really care what happens to Hawk. Don't think I'll be getting the next one.

I loved the Odd Thomas series for its warmth and humour. The Jane Hawk books are a lot darker, but the love and warmth of the characters still shines through - can't wait to start the next one!
