Loved this trilogy from beginning to end although some early parts of last in the The Book of Life were a bit dry and plod worthy (mostly the searching f or the book accounts) but it got back into the action eventually. Have the first televised series and hoping the other 2 are not too far away. Also bought the series as an Audio book from Audible so i was bouncing back and forth from the spoken word when stuck in the car for long drives, to the written text when home in a comfy chair or reading in bed.

I was hooked by the first book discovery of witches, by the second book shadow of night i was addicted and needed to read the conclusion of matthew and diana's story. It was well worth the wait. The journey matthew and diana took to find each other learning about themselves,combatting predudice founded on fear and ignorance of others was compeling, gripping you from the start intrducing you to the world of witches vampires and demons. I will never be bored of rereading them.

I waited for what seemed forever for this third installation, and by golly it was worth every minute! What a brilliant book about an incredible couple and an amazing family. I hope Deborah writes more about Gerbert now and perhaps the twins, but have to say I just love Diana. Thank you for truly the best series I have read for many many many years.
