This story is a phenominal journey! A gripping tale that blends in the very best of SciFi and Adventure. I think there's even a hint of original series Trek in there but I dont want to spoil the read. I could not put this story down, and now that Ive finished it, I'm dissapointed I will have to find something else to read. I know there is an excellent prequel book to this story (FATAL BOARDING) and it is a must read as well. It gives you an idea who Adrian Tarn is and some insight into the universe he lives in.. I'm sure there are more Griffin stories out there just waiting to be told. Reviewed in Oct 2020 not in 1969 as it says on the screen

This was a great follow up to Fatal Boarding. Highly recommend both books. Kind of a let down now that I am finished and know I can't read another chapter. ++Edit++ Just found out there's a 3rd book. Gonna buy it on payday. Happy again.
