I absolutely loved the first few chapters of this book. So much so that I wanted to recommend it to other people. But it changes after a few chapters and the narrative is completely different, much slower and the action just stops once they're "taken". It felt like a different author took over writing. If it wouldve stayed on the same story line I would've given it 5 ⭐

I had originally given this book 4 stars. The first 50 pages were good. I didn't want to stop reading. Then bam Amy finds mom and this book goes from alien invasion to girl interrupted. Very disappointing.
