About this eBook

Never trust a contract with purgatory…

I ran away from that damn circus for a good reason, now it seems my evil mother wants me back there. I’m finding out the hard way that caring about others just gives your enemies leverage against you.

Why does she want me back at Mystique Circus? And why is the queen of purgatory pushing me in that direction too?

All signs point to a final showdown but I’m not sure I’m ready. I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready. I can kill demons and all kinds of horrors but can I face up to my greatest fear – my mother?

Join Jayne and the Sequin & Daggers troupe in the enthralling conclusion to the Carnival Society series.

I loved this book. It's book three in the series. Very unusual storyline in that it Jane, the girl in the story, has strange powers. Born in a circus, she runs away, eventually becoming a cop. The story also has a dragon, sent to protect Jane, who works asa cop also. She works undercover in an acrobatic troupe, who also turn out to be undead. It's a continuous fight between good and evil.

About the author

I write character-driven Urban Fantasy with kick ass chicks and pretty boy vampires.

I’m a digital nomad, although I hate that term because it makes me sound like a wanky hipster. Which I’m not. Okay, I am a bit snobby about coffee and I sometimes wear twee vintage dresses but that doesn’t make me a hipster.

On my travels, I love visiting weird and macabre places. Mummified hands that remove curses, museums of infectious diseases, collections of taxidermed frogs riding Penny Farthings - hell yeah!

I love hearing from readers so if you’ve got questions about my books, cool locations I can visit or just want to say hi, email me - [email protected] or visit my website – http://www.katcotton.com.
