Lucid World

Morgan does just that in "Lucid World" by Denise Lammi In order to save the world we all live in, people from the Lucid world teach Morgan how to stop Khaos from spreading. While she sleeps, Morgan's consciousness is brought to a secret land where people have been trying to stop khaos from killing the world for years. All bad things in the world come from khaos and it is up to people like Morgan in the real world to stop it. I enjoyed this book, the characters are realistic and it's an exciting read. Somethings seem to be over explained, but it all connects together at the end. Give it a try and I know you'll like it too.

The genre is unique. Much of the story takes place in a small prairie town. There are sci-fi and alternative history components along with adventure, humour and inspiration. With a teenage protagonist, Lucid World delivers an entertaining read for all ages. There are several interesting adult characters too. I especially liked how the author tied up everything at the end. In addition, the story delivers an important life message. All in all, a very satisfying read!
