Laurens creates strong heroines to identify with and a hero you crave for yourself. Intelligent, attractive, a respected leader, strong personality, protective, fair, kind, playful, a sensual lover, a loving husband who holds his wife in respect... what's not to sigh over? I always make room for her novels, she's never disappointed me in over 30 novels, equal with Georgette Heyer as a keeper.

Well paced, beautifully written, long enough to properly indulge in and enjoy the character development. Not sweet and clean, but not so explicit to be overwhelming IMO. This author is going on my one click must read list. And how lucky for me that she has such a deep catalogue to indulge in! 😁
