About this eBook

The out-of-doors haunting at Devon Cove presented its own unique problems, yet the cliff-tops, the wind and rain and lightning, and even the hostile townsfolk, all posed less of a problem than the conflict of the tormented ghost we hunted. Her anguish reminded us - the Professor, Milena, Felix and I - of the sobering reality that ghosts were once people.

This is the seventh book in the Paranormology Series.

Yet, another very good book in this series. I liked the fact that the professor is given more human qualities, yet his stubbornness can get annoying sometimes. The exploration of ghosts as people and not just objects is making this series much richer and more believable, if paranormal could ever be believable. I still remember my frustration at one of the first 3 books in the series because that book didn't deal with the back story of the ghost, and I really wanted to know more about them. I understand now that could've been intentional from the part of the author in order to show the growth and development in the characters of both the protagonist and the professor. This is the last book that has been released so far (December 2021). I will be definitely waiting for the next one. The author has done a great work and one can see the development in the narration in each book. This is really an amazing series and I wish more people would read and appreciate it.

About the author

Jeremy Tyrrell lives in Melbourne, Australia. He spends his morning getting started, his afternoon slowing down and his evening with his family.

As a Software Engineer, he uses writing as a way to escape the drudgery of sitting in front of a screen and tapping away at a keyboard. The irony, however, is lost on him.

He is continuing Tedrick Gritswell's adventures and is looking toward doing side projects such as the Paranormology series, Iris of the Shadows and Atlas, Broken.
