Maile Meloyย is the author of the story collectionsย Both Ways is the Only Way I Want Itย andย Half in Love, and the novelsย Liars and Saintsย andย A Family Daughter, as well as a middle-grade trilogy. Her stories have been published inย The New Yorker,ย Granta,ย Zoetrope: All-Story, and other publications. She has been shortlisted for Britainโs ย Orange Prize, and has receivedย The Paris Reviewโs Aga Khan Prize for Fiction, the PEN/Malamud Award, the Rosenthal Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim Fellowhsip.
