Par šo e-grāmatu

Devavrat is the most important character in Mahabharat written by

Maharishi Vedvyas. He was made heir-apparent of the Hasitnapur

kingdom but ceded his rights for his father Shantanu’s happiness.

Because of his terrible oaths he became famous as Bhisma. Devavrat

was blessed by his father to live as he wishes. He played major role in

the political affairs of the kingdom for four generations.

Dr. Vinod Krishna has narrated his life story in a very beautiful manner

and in captivating language. He unfolded strengths and weaknesses of

Devavrat in his own way. Devavrat is not only the story of Devavrat but

also the history of Kuru Dynasty, love, lust, sacrifies and conspircy . As
