Excellent read. Have to read to the end. A little love, a little murder and intrigue always good to get you hooked. This book makes you want to to move to Dusky Cove just to be part of the caring community.

I really enjoyed the book 📙. I almost missed the reason Joey had a reason to kill. Also, at first, I couldn't get the reason Dawn was his first victim. There wasn't much interaction, rhythm or reason for Dawn, her husband & Heidi to be directly involved in the inn or each other. I take it the tensions between Mitch and the Sheriff will be further explained in future books. I guess I'm saying there was no depth in any of the characters. in most cases, no background information.

I liked this story a good who done it but from the start you had a sense of who the killer was.

About the author

Di Davis was born and raised in North Carolina. (Sorry, not in Dusky Cove—yep, it’s a fictional town.)

Her mom got her hooked on cozy mysteries from a young age. Lillian Jackson Braun’s classic Cat Who… series are some of her favorites.

Di has been writing since she was a teenager. She makes her home with her husband and children in the Rocky Mountains now, so writing about Dusky Cove is one of her favorite ways to connect with a little taste of home.
