Temperance Hayes has had her life planned out practically from birth: she was to marry a rich man, preferably the governor’s son, and live out her life in comfort. About the author
Diana Davis was born and raised in North Carolina. She has been writing fiction since she was a teenager. She is also the author of the Dusky Cove cozy mystery series.
Diana holds a Bachelor degree in American Studies and taught a course on constitutional history and the founding as an undergraduate teaching assistant. She earned a Master of Fine Art in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She makes her home in North Carolina with her husband and children.
