Granted it's part of a series and I'm seemingly starting in the middle of it. But the writing seemed very brief/ disjointed when it came to plot points (not that romances are written for the plot...). I also had issue with how Chapter 10 was just missing a page. The characters clearly had a lot of development in previous books, but overall their descriptions and personality were built (and quickly) to serve the very obvious storyline and often what was written later contradicted earlier details

I have read the first three books in the series. This one doesn't finish the story but leaves you hanging.

And right at the end was the worse. You dont find out the full ending.
