About the author
Dietmar Grieser, Journalist und Reiseschriftsteller, wurde 1934 in Hannover geboren und lebt heute in Wien. Er ist Mitglied des PEN und Körner-Preisträger. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Bücher ›Von Schloß Gripsholm zum River Kwai‹ (1973), ›Schauplätze österreichischer Dichtung‹ (1974) und ›Schauplätze der Weltliteratur‹ (1976).
