Writer of romance and children's genres, Dill Ferreira has 18 published books and participates in another 7 anthologies. Her first book "Marriage by appearances" ("Casamento por Aparências", in portuguese), from the Aparências series, received the Interarte Goiás award as one of the best novels of the year 2012. In 2014 she became NEO Academic of the Languages Academy of Goiás (Acadêmia de Letras de Goiás, in portuguese). In 2016, she received the Cora Coralina trophy, as one of the highlights in literature. This greatly honored her, because of the trajectory of hers fellow countrywoman. Several of her books have received municipal, state and federal awards. Dill also loves animals. Niquito, her inspiration for the children's series, was a good and polite dog that she had in her life. For this reason, the writer wanted to immortalize him in her books. Dill Ferreira is Brazilian and lives in Goiás, with her son and an adorable pet.
