***4 ‘Million Billion’ Stars*** Ahhhh...Emma FINALLY made a choice. Okay. That probably came across badly, but let me at least explain before you all come at me with pitchforks. I don’t have many, if any triggers, nor are there many tropes I don’t like...but there is one that toes that line. The Love Triangle. I don’t hate it, but it most definitely isn’t one that I absolutely enjoy ~ and it doesn’t matter if it’s done by an author I absolutely adore ~ they just make me feel...meh. So, I was meh about Dirty Little Secret and as I’m sure you’ve figured out, slightly meh with the first portion of Dirty Little Promise. I say slightly because I really did want to see Emma finally make a decision and once she did that I went from meh to happy (because she made the right one IMHO) and honestly enjoyed the rest of their story because Emma and her chosen one finally got to go all in with their relationship and dear lord are there some smexy and swoon worthy moments between them. There are, of course, bumps in the road and a couple of those bumps were all kinds of crazy, but made sense and were unravelled and resolved well by the end of the book that brought them even closer. And though this couple gets their HEA, their story complete, there is still the loose end in regards to the one not chosen and what his fate will be. Thankfully we will be getting his story next and I’m definitely looking forward to it. But I must be quite honest and say that it’s Quinn’s story I’m really looking forward to. Of all the crazy characters we’ve met so far, he is the one I’m loving the most and cannot wait to spend more time with him! ~ Copy provided by InkSlingerPR & the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

First book sucked with all that action and a cliffhanger. This book had a romantic ending, almost too sweet for the characteristics. Sex scenes had great detail but the ass scene was a bit of a stretch. I prefer believable sex scenes.

So, we thought that we knew what happened at the end of DIRTY LITTLE SECRET, didn't we, friends? Ms. Kendall Ryan dropped a bomb, then left us hanging, just sure that we knew what was what with that sexy but no-good alpha Gavin Kingsley. Now, along comes the explanation in DIRTY LITTLE PROMISE, and we're left loving Gavin more than we did before. Is he bossy? Yes. Can he be distant? Yes. Is he still one of the sexiest alpha guys with more heart than we knew to come along? Yes, yes, yes. And then there's Cooper and Quinn, the other Kingsley brothers. What's a girl to do? DIRTY LITTLE PROMISE picks right back up where DLS ended, taking us along for the ride as Emma discovers who truly holds her heart. There's suspense, passion, and angst aplenty, making this just the kind of book that I like to read, and, yes, priming the pump, as it were, for more Kingsley brothers adventures in the future. DIRTY LITTLE PROMISE is another 4.5 star read for me. Engaging, entertaining, and seriously steamy, Kendall has done a great job of carrying the story through to this book. The twists and turns that happen along the way keep things interesting, and just make for a more satisfying ending, and the characters continue to delight (who knew Little Miss Emma could bring a Kinglsey to his knees?!). A definite must-read for Kendall's fans, and anyone looking for some sizzle and pop, DLP is a keeper.
