Well,,, this writer knew her story very well. Unfortunately she failed to give the reader a clue. I'm afraid I gave up on this book before getting very far. Unless the reader is engaged quickly, then you have lost them for good. I tried to get past that stage. I couldn't make out if these were supposed to be real wolves and hounds somehow and were changing into people or not. In the end, I couldn't be bothered to find out. I didn't have this problem with this writer previously. I think she 'out thought' herself somehow.
