Before she began writing romances, Pamela Browning worked as a newspaper reporter and columnist, and she has also worked in public relations, as well as in the admissions department of a small college. As for romance in her own life, Pamela Browning can't imagine anything more romantic than the wedding of her daughter in the California wine country. "My daughter and her husband exchanged vows beside a vineyard in a golden valley, the sun sliding slowly below dark green mountain ridges, the air fresh with the fragrance of ripening grapes and rich earth. Add candlelight, roses, a Bach trio, and two people in love-- how much more beautiful can life be?" she says. She has two children, a son and a daughter, and she makes her home in North Carolina.
