So badly written, I kept laughing as I read this monstrosity. Everyone
communicates by either yelling or simpering. The youngest child, at 9, is
written as a retarded 3 year old, much like the main character. Do we
really believe any man would sit there and do nothing as another man
molested his wife and daughter in front of him? Read this at your own
peril.... if you continue, there will be tears of shame and anger. You have
been warned.

I like the simplistic style of storytelling that gets on with the story allowing the reader to fill in the backgrounds themselves. It's like a fable with a moral at the end and is uncluttered by long winded descriptions or dialogue. It's pared down to essentials and isn't tied to any particular time in history so makes the whole premise of the story believable. I like that.
