Based on ancient texts and contemporary events, the Acharyas have demonstrated their poetic power by composing heart-warming poems with a rich flavour. Although sages like Narada, Shandilya, etc. have written the Bhakti Sutras, for the first time Lord Sri CChaitanya made the flow of Bhakti all over the world. Influenced by him, Acharyas like Rup Goswami have played a significant role in the growth of Bhakti literature by composing devotional poems. Srila Prabodhananda Saraswati is one of them. Śrī Sarasvatīpāda is the author of 13 poems. He was born in Kāśī in 1550 AD. In his poetry, he has beautifully described the form of Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanya, the supernatural qualities, the greatness of Navadvipa, the greatness of Sri Vṛndāvan, and the eternal love of Sri ̄Radka and Sri Krishna. However, considering that his work did not come specifically to folklore, his contribution to Sanskrit literature is recorded in this book. The book gives a brief introduction of the poet's identity, scholarship, biography and writings. The book is expected to be of immense help to students and researchers in India and abroad. In the end, I pay homage to the Gurus who inspired me to write this book, to the Principal and Professors of B.N. Govt. Sanskrit College and to the students. Thank you to the Head of Perfect Writer Publishing House for his unwavering cooperation. I pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath and Mother Tarini Devi by whose grace this book has attained perfection. Suggestions from readers are essential to correct the errors.
