Dr. Deepak Rai is working as Chairperson and Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. His area of interest is animal ecology, ornithology and wildlife conservation. He has published 28 research papers in journals of national and international repute and also authored 4 book chapters. He has supervised five Ph.D. students and three Ph.D. students are also working on different aspects of avian diversity & ecology of ungulates in different study areas of the state of Haryana.
Piyush Goyal is a Research Scholar in the Department of Zoology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and presently pursuing his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Rai. His area of interest includes wildlife photography, animal behaviour, ornithology and wildlife conservation.
Gaurav Kumar did his M.Sc. Zoology (Specialization Animal Behaviour and Wildlife Conservation) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and presently pursuing his Ph.D. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He has done his training under mentorship of Dr. Deepak Rai.
Vanita did her M.Sc. Zoology (Specialization animal behaviour and wildlife conservation) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and presently pursuing her Ph.D. under guidance of Dr. Deepak Rai. She is working in the field of ornithology and has published 2 research papers.
