About this eBook

You know that voice in the back of your head that says you’re an idiot to like this person? That voice is constantly screaming at me to keep my distance from Dr. Derek Devine. My heart agrees. It knows nothing good can come from me dreaming about what a life with him could be like. Now that he’s starting to pay attention to me, I'm not sure how long I’ll last. Maybe Dr. Devine can be mine.

Sometimes you have to stay away from the one you want. You have to fight your attraction and pretend you feel nothing. I don’t want to fight it anymore. I want Hope to be mine. After some drama, I'm wondering if we can get our happily ever after without losing everything in the process. No matter what, I'm not giving up on her or what we could have together.

Tropes: small town romance, forbidden, frenemies, forced proximity, workplace romance, doctor romance, medical romance

About the author

Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.

She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.

So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
