The author seems to have his own opinions of Jainism, such as Jains taking non violence to far and belief in god. Not bad but not what I had expected. Also confusing English at times.

Jainism is not off shoot of Hinduism. Jains won the case and supreme court of India gave Jainism a separate Identity.
