About this eBook

Constance Owens has a gift for finding unique items in the most unlikely places, which comes in handy since she buys and sells artifacts and antiques for a living. When she purchases a set of four dragon statues, she has no idea just how unique they are, or that finding them will thrust her into a world of secret societies, men who think nothing of kidnapping and murder to get what they want, and dragon shifters.

Nic hasn’t survived for four thousand years by letting his guard down, and he doesn’t trust anyone except his drakon brothers. The loneliness haunting him has been getting worse since all his brothers have found their mates. And when he finds the woman his drakon recognizes instantly as his fated mate, he doubts he’ll ever have what his brothers have, because it seems she’s involved with the secret society of hunters who have been hunting and capturing his kind for hundreds of years.

If there is one thing I love, its dragons and all the fire that goes with them and this book has lots of beautiful fire. Nic is one hot dragon and the sparks that fly between Nic and Constance are sizzling hot. The characters are strong and charismatic, drawing readers into their story of a romance that is full of emotional turbulence that keeps this romance on rocky ground throughout. Anticipation builds keeping readers on edge as a dangerous enemy threatens Nic and Constance with some mysterious magical artifacts. The story is chock full of suspense and surprising twists that ensure readers want to know every last detail. N.J. Walters brings exciting words to life with vivid well written worlds and her worlds are always filled with vibrant, captivating characters and Blood of the Drakon is definitely one of my favorites as her world of Dragons has some unique qualities that makes it a bit different from others. Drakon’s Past had me completely spellbound from beginning to end and I am looking forward to reading the next book by N.J. Walters.

I felt this book didn't hold a candle to the first 3. It felt rushed and I didn't get the feelings that the author put into the others. It had the makings of an incredible read from the begining, but just left me wanted so much more. Very disappointed. I don't even want to read the remaining books in the series.

These two have to work through their trust issues in order to be together, and while it seems impossible at times, it makes it all the sweeter when it happens! As the story unfolds, you learn more about their pasts that make them so suspicious and it is heartbreaking. When all the truths finally come to light, it makes it even more so, but because of missed moments. Nic does a great job in the end to win his woman back and find his peace <3
