Introduction

This book is a continuation of the first book in the series, The Breakdown of the American Healthcare System. (It is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Itunes, Kobo, Smashwords, and the Google Play store.)

I ended that book by telling you all about how I would give you information on better and more efficient medical alternatives, around the world, especially in the form of medical tourism. Also, you are going to get more information about medical practices and services given all over the world, in comparison with those offered to you in America.

So this book is for all those people who are looking for more economical and excellent medical alternatives, all over the world, and because knowledge is power, here are some facts which may serve as an eye-opener.

Why are you spending thousands of dollars/pounds/euros, on very expensive surgery procedures in your own countries, when there are much better and cheaper cost effective surgical procedures obtained all over the world?

Let us take just one example of comparative costs all over the world – prices may vary, depending on the hospital and location, but this should give you an average estimation.

Cost of a bypass heart surgery in America – anywhere between $130,000 – 150,000, depending on which hospital you get yourself treated.

Cost of a bypass heart surgery in India – $ 800 in some hospitals, up to $6,500 in other hospitals.
