About this ebook

 Description

Adverb is one of the most important parts of “Parts of Speech” of English Grammar.                                                                                                                               There are eight parts of speech – noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection. There is an E-Blue Book on “Parts of Speech by the author duly published in “Google Play”. Anyone can read it for the sake of knowledge.

An Adverb as we take it appears to be an ordinary subject but it is not so. It is as important as any part of “Parts of Speech”. An adverb is a word that modifies or describes a verb, an adverb, an adjective beside other words. In fact it heightens the state of action in an appropriate way which makes the sentence more elegant. For instance:

Monika got a prize.                                                                                                                           She went home.                                                                                                                         The reaction of getting the prize appears to be a day to day affair and as such it is an ordinary one but if we use a word how she feels after getting a prize, it expresses her feeling and here an adverb can be useful to express her feeling.

Monika got a prize.

She went home happily.

Here the word “happily” shows her feeling. How did she go home? “Happily.”

The author has described the subject very broadly in a very simple language with suitable examples. One can enrich his knowledge in a very short time particularly in leisure.

Anyone can access to “Google Play” by typing “Durga Prasad” or “Shubham Kumar” in search column. Description and about the author are free of cost but to read the whole subject in question one has to pay online Rs.66 only.

Thanks!
