The beginning of the book was a bit slow. However i stuck with it and I'm so glad I did. Getting to Akira and everything she had been through broke my heart. She had been through so much and I didn't know why so I kept reading till I found the answer. As soon as everything else made sense I couldn't put the book down as I wanted to know more. Especially after finding out that she had found her mate. I would definitely recommend this book to people that are looking for romance and page turners. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Akira is picked as the Guardian, however there is a catch. Her duty is to go looking for the stolen Wolf stone and bring it back, on her adventure she meets Aspen and Ashleigh and learns that she has been lied to all her life. This was a good start to the series and ends in a cliffhanger. It will be interesting to see if they will work together or go their separate ways. When our heroine is called upon to retrieve a lost artifact, she has no idea how difficult the task is going to be. Almost as difficult as dealing with two potential mates. This is book one of the series, so all good there. This is an urban fantasy story featuring shifters. The story is well written and easy to read with an intriguing setting. The setting is well developed and it is fun getting to explore it a bit. The characters are well developed and fit well within the story. The plot
