The book started off very well but then kept jumping about different stories from different characters in the book without finishing the story it had started. Became very frustrating to read as the storyline went totally askew. Great read to start but then became very disappointed in it.

This book was everything you'd want from a dark fantasy book. The characters are complex and seem to be tied to each other. I think this book tells more than the classic "good verses evil" story. Even the seem to have ulterior motives. In a nice twist, the author paints a perfect picture of just how imperfect all beings are.

these books are excellent fantasy, not common on Google play books, they are diverse and we'll written, gonna buy the whole series when I get paid, they are that good, the type of books that you can reread, highly recommend

About the author

Mark Eller spent twenty years happily writing stories and then throwing them away. Then he met his future wife. She got mad about him throwing things away so he then happily began writing books, publishing his shorts, and creating audiofiction podcasts, including The Hell Hole Tavern, Mercy Bend, and Traitor book one of the Turner Chronicles. He can be found most days sitting in his man cave with his fingers busy typing because new stories are constantly running through his head.

EA Draper - You know, I always find it impossible to write a blurb about myself. It’s like asking me to write about what's on the other side of a black hole. Hell if I know! But, since people always seem to want to know, here goes nothing.

I am as plain Jane as you could ever get. I grew up in Des Moines, IA, and am still here. I am a widow, have one daughter, waaaaay too many cats, and a little two bedroom house (sorry…no white picket fence because honestly, my neighbor would probably run THAT one over too).

I am an obsessive learner, that is why you will always find me taking a class online, or a class at a local college (when I can afford it) or just doing some self-teaching. I hold a 2 yr. AA degree and am working on a 2 yr. Web Development degree. After that…who knows! I’d love to have a Literature degree! But that’s a little expensive. You’re talking about 2 yrs. at some fancy four year college that wants your first born, a kidney, and half your brain as payment along with their regular tuition. Pass! At least for now.

Alrighty, then! That’s about all you are going to get. Don’t need to encourage stalking now do we? Well…what are you waiting for? Go buy God Wars!
