About this ebook

E L James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the globe.

"I've never felt this desire, this . . . hunger before. It's a new feeling, new and shiny. I want so much from her: her trust, her obedience, her submission. I want her to be mine, but right now . . . I'm hers."

Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian's cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

This book glorifies abusive relationships and makes the bdsm community look horrible. It does not illustrate the correct way to handle a bdsm relationship. There are parts where he refuses to stop even though she clearly did not want him to continue. There is no aftercare for her when they finish which is a very inportant part If you are going to be doing stuff like this. It makes me sick that people think this book is "sexy" and anything but what is it. Which is disgusting.

Okay. I've read all 3 of the fifty shades book 3 times each. I can't get enough of them. They're so mysterious and beautiful. And I expected the same thing from Grey. But I didn't get it. Maybe cause I already knew what was going to happen because of the other books. Christian is so dark and hurt and beautiful and you learn that in the first 3 books. Reading Grey takes away the mystery of him. But, it is still a good read, still excited for the next book and the movie next year!!
