About this ebook

He’s been given a mission…

The Earl of Infamy must escort one mourning lady out of London and hide her away in the country. Should be easy. But from the moment he steps into her life things get…complicated. Not only is she far too pretty for his liking but she’s got a knack for telling him no.

"No, I don’t want to go to the country with you."

"No, I won’t share your room."

"No, I won’t marry you, I don’t care that we’ve been alone."

Is the woman daft? What lady in her positions turns down an offer liked his? He’s an earl and she’s all but ruined?

Still, the more she resists, the more, he has to confess, he’s intrigued. How can he get her to say…YES.

I loved reading about Avery and Noah’s romantic bubble of time together. The story strictly centered on them and basically them alone. The story is warm, witty, sensual and sexy. What I most admired about Avery and Noah was their ability to confide their deepest pain and fear to each other. The comfort they gave each other was realistic and beautiful. A must read. I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Happily Ever After Page-turner Realistic Steamy Witty Wonderful characters

He was a known rake, with the nickname Earl of Infamy. She was innocent and the daughter of a baron. The deal was made and he agreed to marry her before they even met. Yes, indeed! A charming, emotional story evolves as these two come together. Both wounded from the past and cynical about the future. But a strong attraction begins to spring forth and they might have a chance. If only.... I loved these characters and seeing the story unfold as I have this entire series! Every book has truly been wonderful and what a cast of characters!

It seems that Avery Bright and her cousins are not completely out of danger. The latest threat sends them and their husbands out of London in different directions. Noah Graves, Earl of Ivinhart, known as Infamy, is charged with escorting Avery out of the city. In explaining and convincing her that she must leave with him, he leaves out one detail. They are to be married when they reach his estate. Avery, who craves independence and the right to make decisions for herself, is not overjoyed with this news. I really like Avery and Noah. He has some pain and guilt from the past, but Avery might be the person to help him let go. Avery at least likes, maybe more, Noah, but she wants to be given choices, and Noah has realized he must give them to her. The is a great story. Danger in the city, getting to know each other in a jaunt across England, and thanks to Cousin Ian, a lovely final step to HEA. Great Read! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
